We had an amazing experience with Epic Mountain Express.Wonderful and efficient drivers and coordination. There was no effort to correct the situation or allow us to explain. All in front of the other guests! Completely embarrassing and unprofessional. He was completely rude and basically shushed us and said get on the bus if you want to go. We explained we had proof and he refused to let us show him.
When we asked to speak with someone who could help us, a manager came out and stated that we never purchased the private option. We had to wait another 20 minutes or so for the Vail bus.

We were then told that our transfer was actually a full size bus and that they would drop us off at the bus/transportation center only to board another minibus that also was also not private. When we arrived outside to the meeting spot, it was a designated smoking section.
This number did not allow us to text back. and that we must be waiting outside 15 minutes early. Our flight was a little early and we received a text when we finished getting our bags stating we missed our 10:00 transfer and that we would have to be on the next transfer at 11:00. We never book group transfers because we have small kids. Epic mountain express sold us a private transfer and we added on the option for a 1 hour grocery store stop from Denver airport to our hotel in Vail. We have hired numerous transfer companies and never had such an awful experience. We are frequent travelers that have traveled around to many countries. I wouldn't hesitate to use Epic Mountain Express again and would like to thank them for making my trip to Vail, in the worst of weather conditions, enjoyable and comfortable. So overall this is an amazing and efficient service, managed in a professional and competent way. When booking the service I emailed Epic Mountain Express several times, and then again just before I left for the US, and each time my email was answered in less than 20 minutes. It's a minibus, so you're quite up-close with other passengers, but that's okay, and people were friendly and happy to chat. On return, the minibus was on time at my hotel and the driver was helpful and informative when we arrived at the airport. However, the service continued with a little wait and in the snow and ice Larry was a steady and careful driver - as well as lending me his arm to help me across the snow on arrival. It was manic at the airport when I arrived from Heathrow and I was worried because of the extreme weather conditions that the minibus run by Epic Mountain Express might not run. Travelled from Denver Airport to Vail on 22nd December in the worst of the winter storm.
